Are you the type who can find a needle in a digital haystack and laugh about it? I’m a small-company CEO and consultant wearing multiple hats, juggling various technology-related companies and projects, with a focus on rescuing floundering software companies. I need a research and administrative virtuoso to help me behind the scenes (no capes required, but a sense of humor is mandatory).
The Gig:
- 10 flexible hours/week (perfect for students, retirees, or anyone who enjoys wearing pajamas to work)
- Mostly remote, with occasional/monthly meet-ups in West Chester, PA (I promise I’m not a vampire)
- $15/hour to start, with room to grow as fast as my clients’ challenges multiply
You’ll Be:
- Diving into LinkedIn like it’s the world’s most entertaining pool
- Unearthing potential clients who don’t yet know they need saving
- Organizing research findings with the precision of a librarian on a mission
- Juggling various admin tasks with the grace of a cat landing on its feet
You Should Have:
- A knack for online sleuthing that would impress Sherlock
- Communication skills that could charm a grumpy chatbot
- Self-motivation that puts coffee to shame
- A sense of humor (fairly essential – my printer just doesn’t know how to set up a good joke)
- Sufficient audacity to demand clarification when I inevitably provide incomplete or vague directions
Perks:
- Flexible schedule (because life happens)
- Front-row seat to the wild world of tech entrepreneurship (popcorn not included)
- Absorb startup wisdom through osmosis (way easier than getting an MBA)
- Potential to grow with the company (I believe in nurturing people, not just algorithms)
If you’re still reading and thinking, “This sounds like my kind of adventure,” send your resume and a cover letter that tells me more about you to frank@jacquette.com. Bonus points if you make me laugh out loud!
No third-party recruiters or agencies, please – it’s not you, it’s me. I mean it.
P.S. No actual software was harmed in the making of this job post. Yet.
